Tawandang German Brewery is one of our favorite places to go. Joe's office usually has an outing there once a month. Not only do they have great Thai and German food but they also have entertainment. The guy in the yellow shirt below is my favorite entertainer - he is in a lot of their performances and he is hilarious - he has hair down to his butt. The female performers are interesting too - we play a game here - spot the katoey (ladyboy). Thailand is the number one place to get a sex change and there are lots of them roaming around the city here. Some you can tell without a doubt but others are harder to tell. I do believe the young lady in the picture below might be a katoey. They also have these beer towers that you get at your table. The almost empty beer tower is at our table and then I wanted to get a picture of one that was full so we took a picture of someone else's beer tower! Jim in San Diego - if you are reading this - this is all the more reason for you to fly thru Bangkok on your travels. Joe and I promise we'll get you your own beer tower when you fly thru!
