China Town Walking Tour

In August I went on a photography walking tour of China Town with the American Women's Club (AWC).  They do these tours about once a month or so.  It's a great opportunity to get a lot of neat photos.  Enjoy!

Some sort of fish over a grill.....

The Queen Mother of Thailand - her picture is all over the place in Bangkok!

A buried truck - what a sight to see - and this was not the ONLY one - there were more!

An adorable little girl who was hamming it up for the camera!

OK now this was not taken on purpose.  I was trying to take his picture while making these decorations (not sure what they are) and due to the delay on the camera, I ended up getting him picking his nose instead - gotta love it!

This is how they wash dishes here...

Mmmmmm yummy fish!

And some raw fish...

This lady was a trip - she was hamming it up for the camera more than the little girl in the previous picture!

Chinese Mooncakes...

Can you imagine sitting in that squatting position working all day?  That is how they do it here!  I know I couldn't do it!

I thought this was interesting....

This poor parrot - he is nearly naked of all his feathers.  He was a sight to see and would jump up and down and bop around.

A monk...

Orange monk robes air drying....

An old singer sewing machine....

Anyone need some eggs?

A lady at a temple....

A shot of the temple.....

A shot down the main drag of china town.....

Chestnuts roasting.....
